Ivory Pleated Wall Hanging

This hanging was commissioned by the minister of the DuPage Unitarian-Universalist Church, in Naperville, Illinois.

The minister asked for something that would go on the wall behind the pulpet, to stop her from blending into the brick while she talked during the Sunday service. The requirements were that she didn't want to worry that the clothes she was wearing clashed with the hanging, that the hanging not have a busy center motief so that she would not feel "framed" by it thereby having to be conscious of where she was standing, and something that would not distract the congregation from the message of the service.

The hanging measures 8' wide and 6.5' tall and is made of ivory heavy curtain fabric.
