This quilt was commissioned by the members of the DuPage Unitarian-Universalist
Church, in Naperville, Illinois.
When the minister announced she was leaving the church to take a position
at a new church, the woman's group gathered pieces of fabric from the membership. The
fabric was given with the direction, make a hanging for the minister's new
church.
The quilt is made up of almost 1200 small rectangles of fabric, and measures
approximately 32" square.
