These windows were commissioned by the DuPage Unitarian-Universalist
Church, in Naperville, Illinois.
Description:
The windows utilizes translucent glass and are most effective with the sun
shining through them. The chalice is dark brown and textured. The flame is multi-colored
red/orange/gold. The clear arcs are glue-chip glass, with a cracked pattern
that reflects the light nicely. The ring around the flaming chalice is a clear gold
with a very slight texture. The rainbow is red, orange, yellow, green, blue and
purple, all with varying textures and glass types.
The windows each measure 19" x 84", including the 1.5" oak
frame.
